Educational experts have identified dual credit programs - concurrent and dual enrollment - as an academic opportunity that advances student success, increases student equity, and closes the distance between secondary and higher education teaching and learning. Early college programs with these goals offer more than dual credit options, rather, they offer programs that open opportunities that support student development, career exploration, as well as the hard and soft skills needed to be successful in college and beyond.
This conference aims to support secondary and post-secondary decision-makers with actionable strategies to, 1.) develop a dual credit program that includes student support programs, 2.) help students see the value of dual credit, and 3.) enhance developmental advising.
